Re: Miah, Ty and Noah
Noah was in no mood for conversation, and it wasn't as if what they were doing up here on the roof was a social event, anyway. It was a necessary evil, this whole kill or be killed scenario, and he knew it, thus he saw no point in letting it trouble him. He was excellent with a rifle, and thus he'd put himself on the roof to give aid to those on the ground. His muscles were tense as he watched through the rifle's scope, determined to be prepared the second he was needed.
Ty was on the roof as well, figuring that they had enough people on the ground right now. If needed, he'd certainly be fine with climbing down and getting into some hand to hand, but like Noah, he thought his strength was in the use of a sniper rifle. He felt both confident and competent today, secure in his awareness that both Bea and Vienna were back at the compound; he'd thought he might have to argue Bea into staying there. Luckily, he hadn't, although he didn't think she'd stayed behind because she'd wanted to. Well, he'd always known she had superior leadership skills from the time he'd met her.
Ty was relatively close to the long-haired kid who was sniping along with him and Noah, and he heard the guy's mumbled words. "What begins?" he inquired. "Chaos and mayhem?"
