Content with the fact that the subject was behind them, Regan just nodded. He knew that Brandon wasn’t trying to be a jerk, and he knew Silas disliked the idea of Rae in danger. They both had valid reasons for their opinions, he was just relieved that the subject had been settled without some kind of argument or that they wouldn’t be revisiting this conversation later, once they were back at the compound. Using their abilities was only logical; it gave them an advantage. “Good, lets save the heroics for the movies,” Regan commented, smirking slightly in an attempt to lift a bit of the tension.
There really wasn’t anyway to argue that. These people had tortured and killed, they deserved what they had coming to them. It was just horrifying to see the level which these people seemed to value human life, which was kind of not at all. When Brandon began rattling off orders, he nodded. “I’ll keep an eye on our six,” it made sense really, as he was already bringing up the rear.
Keeping an eye behind them, he listened as Brandon and Rae held their conversation, feeling more at ease that they had more knowledge of what they were facing. From what it sounded like they were evenly matched, and he nodded when Brandon asked them for an opinion on the difficulty level of this. “Shouldn’t be, especially not when I’ve got Hulk one and two on my side.” It was meant as a joke, sort of. Regan couldn’t lie and say he didn’t feel marginally better knowing they had things like healing factors and strength on their side.
Keeping on eye on what was going on behind them – which was pretty much nothing as of right now, Regan nodded as Silas ran down what he thought the building would be like. “They might expect us to come in through the front,” he pointed out. “So they may not have rigged anything onto a back entrance.” He wasn’t necessarily saying that’s how they should go in, no; he was just speaking his thoughts aloud. “Do you think it’d be wise to split up?”
