"If I can't be runnin' one myself, might as well be here," Ty said philosophically. Sing Sing seemed like a good place so far, and of course Bea and Vienna were here. Most likely, they were as close to family as he'd ever have again, and he'd learned not to take that lightly. "It's nice to be able to use what I put in all that training on," he said of being a medic again. Ty was definitely rough around the edges, but he was good at his job, and it sure didn't hurt his feelings to have someone else acknowledge that.
"Guess we'll find out," he said of the abilities some of them had having consequences. Either they'd find out or the abilities themselves would vanish again; it would be hard to say, not knowing how they'd gotten them in the first place. Ah, well, fuck it. Ty wasn't much on brooding over things about which he had no idea, so it was easy enough to let it go.
Ty and Zach arrived at the nearest supply room, and it was time to find trash bags and a rake. He'd never been one to spurn a task because it wasn't his job, and it didn't seem like Zach was either. That was good to know, made him respect his fellow medic even more.
