With a chuckle as he moved closer, Zach crossed his arms across his chest as he answered. "You wouldn't be the first person who's said that to me," he remarked, a hint of amusement evident in his tone. Well, that's interesting… he thought when the other medic confirmed that it had been him that had made the junk pile and the rock explode. "Shit. Are you serious?" Because that was some sci-fi shit right there, though in the back of his mind it made Zach feel mildly better about his own weird incident. Were they all turning into X-men or something? God, he kind of hoped not.
"Remind me not to irritate you, then," Zach added with a smirk. "Don't really want to be exploded." Joking was is fall back, and in this situation it seemed easier than getting all serious and weird about things. "And I don't know, maybe we'll need to warn the medical staff." He added, though there was only one nurse that really seemed to irritate any of them. For the most part they were a well oiled machine, even if Zach wasn't always entire sure about some of their skills - half of them had been pre-med when the world went to hell. Only a few of 'em had a lot of hands on real-life knowledge, Ty and Talia being two of those people - and probably the reason that he counted them as his second in commands. Yes, the infirmary was still his in his mind.
"You know, I've half a mind to agree with that," living in a prison, hiding out from zombies. yeah, maybe they were all looney. "Evolution, maybe?" Right, that's how X-men came to exist?
