It sounded out there, but for as long as Miah could remember he'd never been prone to embarrassment. Maybe he just didn't care enough about other people's opinions or something. "Not joking, or I guess I haven't come across something that would embarrass me," he replied with a shrug. "Who knows, it could happen though." He wasn't arrogant enough to think he had an inability to be embarrassed, he just never had been. Hence the comment about 'not embarrassing'.
The booze were taking their effect though, so focusing on this train of thought was becoming a herculean task.
Miah couldn't stop the way he barked out a laugh at the statement. "Because I am," which sounded arrogant, but he was pretty damn confident that he could be sure of it. "Never been prone to mumbling," he added with a little smirk. "So don't think that'll start tonight." Even when he had bee the poster child for rebellion he had never taken to the whole 'mumbling and moping' it just wasn't him.
Waving off Jace just a little bit, he downed the last of his drink and slide off the barstool. "Alright, alright, I'll start the set," he said, shaking his head and chuckling slightly when the red-haired man actually cut him off. "It won't be emo and you'll be totally amazed." He added as he made his way over to the corner and picked up his guitar, going about all the necessary prep stuff before starting his set.
