Ewan gave a nod at Noah's admission that he was not immune. Being immune was hardly a necessity, and if all went well he wouldn't be involved in any fighting anyway, so he didn't have much of a problem with that. Olivia's response, on the other hand, was a bit more disconcerting. He was already slightly on edge thanks to the coincidence of running into this unexpected reminder of his past, and the fact that she sounded quite a bit like she was trying not to panic made him nervous.
"So you are immune, or you're not?" He questioned her, admittedly rather unsure as to whether she was trying to reassure him of her capabilities, or to assure Noah that his own lack of immunity would be fine. Either way would be alright, but he did want to be sure of what to expect of this raid. He was normally one to expect to be on even footing with those that came along with him, but today he seemed to be throwing himself headlong into a leadership role. Honestly, he just wanted to get this over with as fast as they could, and taking control of the situation to get everyone moving seemed like the best way to do that. At her comment about dogs, though, he couldn't help but chuckle slightly.
"Dogs, really? I don't think they're so bad. Sure, they're quick and they've got one hell of a set of teeth, but they don't have the level of cunning that infected humans do, and I'd say littler animals are more of a bother. I stumbled across a bloody nest of infected rats while scouting through the old underground a few years back. Nasty business, rats. They can run up the leg of your trousers... you're bitten twenty times before you can say 'sticky toffee pudding'." He gave a bit of a humorless laugh at his own words. It never occurred to him that this little ramble might not be the most encouraging thought with which to set out on a mission into possibly hostile territory. Still though, he figured it best to get back on the matter at hand before he went off on a complete tangent.
"Noah, you'd said you knew of a place we might find some... useful bits and bobs, yeah? Where was that?" He asked, slightly awkwardly. He hardly wanted to announce to anyone who might overhear them that he wanted to go off in search of alcohol, even if he had admitted it as publicly as the internet. "We could start there. At least it's a goal to keep in mind. Then do a sweep of the surrounding area."
