Ewan saw Noah coming through the usual crowd of people milling around the station, thanks mainly to the fact that he was rather tall. Not unusually tall, but still tall, with long, gangly limbs. His first thought was that he hoped this wasn't the fellow that had agreed to come on the raid with him. He looked like a newborn horse, all ungainly, overgrown legs. Ewan actually rather doubted that he would be able to run without tripping over his own feet should they encounter any infected. His second thought was that he most definitely recognized him.
When Noah introduced himself, he gave a mumbled, "Pleasure, I'm Ewan," in return, but he couldn't help staring at him, brow furrowed in confusion as he tried to place where he knew him from. Very suddenly, it clicked, and he raised the hand that wasn't encumbered by his brass knuckles to prod him in the chest, eyes wide.
"You! You were in that film! The one where the bird and the bloke have that falling out, and there's that whole business with the light! We wrote a song for that bloody film!" He hummed a few bars of the song in question, probably seeming just a bit manic to poor Noah, and anyone else who happened to be close enough to hear him. With all of his time spent this week just generally being a morose bastard and thinking about the past, this sudden reminder was shocking. He was going on a raid with this bloke and a fan? He wondered vaguely if someone had managed to find a bit of acid even in the apocalypse and slipped it to him.
He was suddenly saved from embarrassing himself further by the arrival of Olivia, who looked about as awkward as he was suddenly feeling. He rather suspected that her apparent exuberance on the intranet posting had been a bit of a boast, because he could see none of that confidence in her now. The presence of his one surviving fan was actually something of a blessing, as her obvious nervousness made him feel a bit better about the situation. If he had someone else's worries to think about, he could much more easily ignore his own.
"Hello, love." He greeted with a bit of a smile, and waving a hand in gesture at Noah. "Olivia, this is Noah." He introduced before returning his attention to Noah. "This is Olivia, she'll be coming along with us. I'm told she's not bad with a gun. And you'll be lookout for us, yeah?" Introductions settled, he turned to lead the way out, rather in a hurry to get things over with, although he stopped suddenly and turned back to them again. "Forgot to ask you both. Are you immune, or no? I'd rather know who I've got to keep an eye on."
