Chuckling to himself, Zach had to admit this was definitely a better reaction than he expected. Most people got weird when they realized he likely knew more about them than most of the people living inside the walls of Sing Sing. “Probably should have,” He agreed with the faintest of smiles. “There’s always next time.” Because more than likely there would be a next time and there was a very high chance that Zach wouldn’t have another comeback like the one he had just had.
“Then I’m safe,” He had no plans of screwing with the gym equipment or pissing Jackie off. “Although if you’re willing to fight for the equipment you probably should be in charge of the gym or something.” Because that was passion right there, but everything he knew about her had sort of lent itself to making him think she was a woman with a lot of passion for the things she cared about. “Guess we’ll just have to see if I’m cursing you or thanking you at the end of this.”
A cocky little grin appeared on his features in response to Jackie’s words. “Do you now or later?” He figured if that’s how she wanted to play things he was more than happy to continue the conversation in this manner.
“You know, I don’t think you did,” he gave her an answering smirk. If she could handle him ego, cockiness and all, well, he wasn’t going to hold back. “A woman who’s not easily swayed, my favorite kind.” Which actually was the god’s honest truth – he liked challenges, especially when it came to the women he chose to focus his attention on. “Good.” Zach was a lot of things, but a liar wasn’t one of those things.
Zach glanced over at Jackie, a smug grin turning up the corners of his mouth. “Take away the flesh eating zombies, and yeah, you could say I’m in heaven here.” Sing Sing definitely had its wide array of take charge and assertive women, and if they hadn’t all simply been trying to survive he would likely be taking full advantage of the situation.
