Talia wanted so badly to question the logic behind texting after she was done with her project. Charlie hadn’t come to help with things, she’d come looking for her siblings, so wouldn’t it have made more sense to text them and see if they were available for whatever was so pressing that Charlie had walked all the way to the infirmary?
But she didn’t know this woman, and their conversation thus far hadn’t been going swimmingly, so she decided to keep her question to herself in order to keep peace.
“Thank you. It shouldn’t take too long,” Talia replied, moving back to where she’d been working. “Saves some work for me.”
