His momma had been taking pictures all day and had told him not to go walking away, and yet that’s exactly what Ledger had done. With his own little camera in hand he had wandered around behind her for awhile, but then she had stopped and stared at some boring wall for too long, so he had moved on. Tipsy was bouncing along in front of him, stopping to sniff at things like she always did and each time the little dog stopped, Ledger would take a picture of her. The puppy chose the path they were going and the three year old simply followed. How long they did this for was impossible to know, but by the time Tipsy was worn out enough to settle in one spot for long, Ledger had no idea where they were or where his momma was. “You got us lost,” The little boy pointed out to the hyper little dog, a frown turning down the corners of his mouth. Although the little boy should have been feeling panic, all he felt was a deep desire to go over and play on the snow-covered play set. His momma would find him, she always did. “D’you wanna swing?” He turned big questioning brown eyes on Tipsy and laughed when his puppy wagged her tail and began trotting over to the play set. He ran along behind her, watching the dog and not where he was going, which was exactly why the three year old collided with a set of legs long before he reached the playground. |
