Oddly enough, Nick thought this was something she maybe should be offended about. Jax invites her to watch a movie and then pretty much begins to fall asleep on her? Yeah, most girls would probably take offense. But she wasn’t most girls, and considering the circumstances she really couldn’t fault him for feeling comfortable enough to finally get some sleep. In all honesty she didn’t struggling with sleeping or anything, but she couldn’t deny that things were easier, better even, when you had company.
The movie was still playing after all, and Jax’s arm was still around her, so she was still warm. So Nick didn’t really have anything to complain about, unless he snored, in which case she would poke him in the ribs again and strongly urge him to get those nasal strip things if he continued to make this a habit. Although she hadn’t wanted to jostle him much, she couldn’t help the way she shifted a little bit, curling into Jax’s side as she stretched out her legs across his lap. If he was going to be comfortable enough to fall asleep, she thought it was only fair she make herself comfortable as well. All thoughts of awkwardness gone from her mind at that moment, Nick was doing a very good job of keeping to her word and not thinking about that anymore.
Weird dreams? She wondered if he meant nightmares, but she didn’t ask that. “Like nightmares? Or weird as in giant fluffy bunnies forcing you to have a tea party with them?” She wasn’t prying, but she had never been one to not ask questions. If Jax chose not to confirm or deny the fact that he was having nightmares, well, she wouldn’t push him to do it. “And if you don’t want to answer that we can totally go back to silence, just, I want you to know if you snore I will poke you in the ribs again!” There, she had given Jax an out, now she was curious to see if he would take it or not.
