Nick was not an easy girl in any sense of the word, but Jax actually liked that. He hated simpering female idiots, afraid to venture forth their opinions or disagree with a guy in the slightest. What was the fun in that? It would be like hauling a cardboard cut-out of a girl along with you instead of a real person with her own thoughts and a willingness to give him shit. Her innocent look didn't fool him whatsoever, but at least he seemed to have answered the question to her satisfaction, as far as he could tell. "Indeed you are," he said archly, and he had to wonder what it would be like to make out with her when they weren't plastered. Hopefully he'd get to find that out one day.
Jax absolutely wasn't a guy who could back down from a challenge, and that was so clearly what was happening with the next question she asked him. He didn't tend to hold a lot back, and his expression took on a hint of wickedness as he began his response. "Of course there's stuff like biceps and abs," he said, "and a lot of the girls I went to school with liked guys' asses. Sometimes I'd be walking down the hall and hear someone go damn, look at that hot ass, and it'd be two chicks talking about a guy." He smiled angelically. "And some girls like dick, but if they never saw one, they might not know for sure." He'd had a friend who was a girl, not a girlfriend, in school who'd said she thought dicks were the most ridiculous looking things ever, but then she tended to be harsh about nearly everything. That was probably why he'd liked hanging out with her, because she'd been entertaining.
He was distracted from the fact that he'd just used the word dick in front of a girl by Nick's comment about the penguins not being built like him. He felt sure she hadn't meant it like it had come out, but that didn't stop him from liking it. He was smiling probably more than her next question would warrant, but he couldn't stifle the expression. "Yeah, I like penguins, too, and the thought of zombie penguins isn't too appealing. Sorry." The only thing that would make this any better, he thought, would be if they had a blanket to cover up with and maybe if they made out while they were sitting here. But in all honesty, he was still getting incredibly sleepy, and he'd probably totally fail at making out at this moment. He settled his arm around her more securely and readjusted the angle of his head propped against his other hand. There was a movie? Oh, yeah, there was. Hey, cartoon dragon.
