Jax, being a guy, definitely hadn't stopped thinking about what had happened. It had been hot in that been-drinking, lack of many inhibitions way. Also, Nick had been surprisingly good at kissing for someone who'd never done it before. He might've felt a touch of pride that he'd been the first one to kiss her, as silly as that was. Wasn't testosterone great? Sometimes he even lulled himself to sleep at night daydreaming about what they could have possibly done next. Too bad it didn't seem to keep him asleep all night long, but that was a separate issue.
He was glad he'd picked a movie she approved of on the first try. Also, the dragons really were cool. If he remembered right, there was an extra on the DVD about the making of the movie, and that might be interesting too. He pointed the remote at the TV and hit play, then rolled his eyes at her. "No, I'm not offering it to make you watch something you don't wanna. 'Cause, like, I wouldn't be too happy if you wanted us to watch a movie that had a bunch of male butts in it. If I wanna see butt, I can just look over my shoulder after I take a shower." No, nobody had ever claimed that Jax was always appropriate.
"I didn't think of that," Jax said to her tip on sock repair. "I might do that." After he'd washed them, because it'd be gross to take somebody a dirty sock and expect them to sew it up. He turned toward Nick, pulling his legs up to stay warmer and resting his head against the back of the couch as the movie started playing.
