It was always easy to spot an uncomfortable model, and the way Leah was shifting around it was obvious she wasn’t at all at ease. Vienna felt kind of bad about that, but only kind of. What good were friends – the few she actually had – if she couldn’t rope them into being models for her every once in awhile, and hell, it wasn’t like she was making them do nudes or anything. She wasn’t that sadistic, at least not in the wintertime.
In the most professional tone Vienna could muster, she answered Leah. “A solemn look would be fitting, but you look like I just kicked your puppy,” the seriousness only lasted a moment before she found herself smiling at her friend’s big toothy smile. “Wow, you’re pulling out the big guns, now, threatening to stop talking to me, I’m so afraid.” Except she wasn’t, because if Leah had truly wanted to enact that threat she would have put it into motion when she forced her into this photoshoot, or at least that’s what Vienna would have done if the roles were reversed.
Rolling her eyes up towards the ceiling, Vienna huffed out a sigh. “But you don’t look stupid, and in photography that’s what matters,” she pointed out at she moved forward towards Leah, crouching down to fuss with the train on the dress, fanning it out around Leah’s feet. “Plus, I’m sure Evan will thank me when he sees these pictures.” She added as she stood up straight again, a smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth.
“I am not going for zombie prom, even if you and Bea both think that’s what it is,” she huffed out, though her announce was all an act. “They’re about glamor and the contrast between the elegance of the gowns and the grittiness of the prison,” And the concept really would have made a phenomenal fashion spread; oh well, now it was going to be wall art. “It’s art, and the model should trust the photographer’s vision.” The last part was said with a hint of teasing.
Taking a couple steps back, Vienna tried to get an idea of how she wanted to set up this shot. “Okay, could you stand kind of like this?” Vienna shifted her body into a pose, one that was relaxed and kind of conveyed the over all feeling she was going for with the photoshoot.
