The mention of Maddie from Nick's mouth made her glance down at the ice. No matter how much she wanted her two best friends to get along, she knew they never would. “Yeah, definitely,” she turned her attention back up to Nick with a slightly strained, but still genuine, smile.
Of course, when it came to dying Nick's hair, she'd probably have to go to Ossining and get her some dye, since Maddie would never let her, but that was beside the point. “I'll see if I can find you some dye then. How blue do you want it?” she asked.
“I mean, it's just him being an overprotective brother or whatever, but like...” she sighed heavily. “It puts me in a crappy spot.
