“Totally, I mean Maddie can’t be the only one running around here making a statement,” She kept whatever comment she wanted to make about Maddie to herself, she was Caitie’s best friend after all. “Sure, I mean it’s your hair, so why not do what you want.” If it bothered other people, well, it was their issue and not Caitie’s, or at least that’s what Nick thought.
She smiled slightly. “It kind of will, won’t it?”
Nick wanted to kick herself for making that comment. Even if Caitie’s brother hadn’t told her he was leaving, she shouldn’t have gone and brought that up again. “You should have had more time, and a note or something,” she thought that if nothing else Caitie’s brother should have given her a heads up. Leaving someone alone like this was a shitty move. “Older brothers have a habit of doing that.” Levi hadn’t exactly given her a choice when he sent her to Sing Sing alone.
“Yeah, that’s better than wearing hockey skates and giving them a reason to need stitches.” She agreed with a grin. Even if she was really mad at her brother she wouldn’t want to give him a reason to visit the infirmary.
