It took quite a bit of acting to fool him, which was exactly why Miah didn’t buy this woman’s innocent act at all. Well, that and she was the only person within a hundred feet of him, which pretty much meant that the snowball had to have come from her. He flashed an easy smile and kind of gave her a ‘you had it coming’ look when she faked some kind of confusion as to why she had been hit by a snowball.
He hadn’t exactly been born yesterday; so when the woman took a step towards him and ducked down to build another snowball he took that opening as a way to get out of range of her. While her look was clearly calculating, deciding whether she would throw said snowball or not. Miah’s was fairly relaxed and easy-going as he put the skating rink between himself and the woman. If she was going to start a snowball war, well, he wasn’t going to be left out in the open without some kind of shield. In all honesty a snowball fight felt very junior high, but maybe that’s what he needed after the heaviness of the day.
