Wren clung a little tighter as Aiden reiterated something that he always knew but which would take a while longer to sink in so that he stopped feeling so scared of losing it all the time. He rubbed his cheek against Aiden's, sighed heavily and then relaxed as the only male hand that he'd known this long which had never hurt him rubbed sure and steady against the tense muscles of his thin back, the spine just there and vulnerable but safe.
He nodded then turned his head and kissed Aiden just behind his ear, a breathy slow little kiss that would have been almost filthy in nature were it not for the fact that Wren just had no idea that it was any different from any platonic display of affection; he couldn't tell one from the other. "You want to see?" he asked, smiling and ready to get up and go, show Aiden the place where he slept on a stairwell because he was too afraid to attempt bunking in with one of the others, scared of entering one of the cells.
