Wren had been afraid of the dark for longer than there had been zombies lying there in wait. Scary things though, he'd known about scary things for years. Still, he was comforted by Aiden's reassuring body under his, the hand in his hair, the fact that he was there when Wren had worried he never would be again.
He responded to query about his safety with an 'of course' nod because Aiden was there and how could he be hurt when he had Aiden with him? He nosed against Aiden's chest, one hand resting over Aiden's heart and petting the muscle there. "Mmm, I found some things. I ate sometimes." he said vaguely. He'd been too afraid to go up to anyone by himself so he'd been scavenging, his main drive being to hide from these people he didn't know.
He tipped his head back and up and eskimo kissed Aiden's jawline. "Did you eat?" he wanted to know. He wasn't very good at it, but he was trying to look out for Aiden's welfare as much as Aiden looked after him. "Aiden I missed you lots."
