"If you think you can take it out, I'd suggest you get the one out there," he stated after thinking about it for a while. While it was a lone infected, it's lack of movement struck him as odd, and he was concerned that it might be attempting to serve as a beacon for other infected. He had his rifle, but wasn't really confident in making the shot. Lucretia, on the other hand, seemed more confident with a gun. "I'm not really sure what it's doing out there, but I don't think it's good." He said, sharing his suspicions.
He kept walking, remembering the question she had asked him before. "I've been to a few of the other camps. I started out answering the call for immunes for training, and I spent time on the mainland for that. I then transferred over here, but I leave every once in a while for the mainland if I'm needed for any reason, or I accompany people out."
The patrol tonight was more boring than usual, though he knew better than to be complacent. A quiet night was always welcome. "Do you spend a lot of time outside the camp you're stationed at?" He attempted to carry on the conversation mostly because nothing was happening at the moment, though he kept checking the surf for any other swimmers.
