There were just somethings that Charlie needed to believe in order to keep sane. Or in this case happy. She couldn't see her younger brother, who was really the same age as her, not wanting to be around them. All they had now was each other and that meant something. It was nice to know that Zach and Maddie didn't have a problem dragging Dillon's ass to Christmas. Although she was still hoping that he would come of his own accord.
Was it really that much? She took another look around the room and how many toys were in it. She guessed she got so much because she didn't know what he would like. She didn't have those two years to learn about what he liked and what he didn't. It was easy to find out though. It usually began with him throwing a tantrum.
"You're both delusional. I'm going to be the one winning," she said in a matter of fact tone. She didn't really care who won but it would be fun to beat Zach and Maddie. If only to see the look on their faces, well on Zach's face.
She rollled her eyes and laughed, "Yeah, I know. I just never could find a cage big enough for you."
