Ev had been happy to have something he could actually do for Caitie, as mundane as acquiring a bed might seem. He got on well with Zach, and the two of them had knocked that errand out with no problem. As awful as it had been initially to be bitten, he was thankful to be immune, because that meant that he had more freedom than some.
