But to be honest, Kris knew that if he didn't do it now, it wouldn't get done. And it was a good way to flex his technological muscles, something that he'd been sorely lacking in chances to do lately. "No, no. It's okay," he mumbled, crawling from his bedroll and holding his hand out for the computer.
It was lacking a cord, but he reached into his little "Bin of Magic" (or computer parts) and pulled out the appropriate adapter, sticking it on the end of his cord and plugging it in to the ugly HP machine. How could anyone use one of these things? It made Kris shudder to think about it. "So," he said as he searched for the power button. "What kind of fake virus thing are we talking about? I can make it shut down every five minutes, I can make the screen flash, I can even give him a pranky blue screen of death message."
The blue startup screen made him wince, but he just shoved on, like he always did.
