“You wouldn’t have known you were a zombie though,” Nick pointed out. “Although, I don’t know, do you think zombies have the knowledge to know who they used to be?” That was a creepy thought, one she didn’t even entirely know where it had come from. Maybe she would ask Ellie about that sometimes, the other woman did study the infected after all.
Glancing at the case he had indicated, Nick could honestly admit she had never seen that one. “I don’t hate apocalypse movies, but most days I kind of feel like we get enough of the end of the world, so do I really need to sit through two hours of it when I’m trying to relax?” That wasn’t to say she wouldn’t watch something like that, it just wasn’t at the top of her list. “But what do I know, I go for Disney movies or PIXAR movies most of the time.” Because they were mostly light-hearted and fun.
“You’re kidding right? There’s at least ten sports that are way more boring than Baseball!” She was probably biased though, she’d spent more than her fair share of time in the bleachers at her brothers baseball games. Nick never did quite understand why it was associated with guys and sex, but she wasn’t about to ask anyone to explain it to her. “Oh my God, did you have to mention clowns?” She visibly shuddered. Clowns had always been a fears of hers, one she was more than willing to admit to.
Leaning forward to inspect the selection of movies she had to pick from, she picked a couple of them up and set them to the side immediately. She didn’t particularly want to sit through those movies so eliminating them straight off seemed wise. After a couple more minutes of pondering the choices, Nick grabbed the case at the end of the row and held it out to Jax. “Hopefully you like comic book movies.” Which she kind of figured he did since he had picked the movie out in the first place, but maybe she was wrong about that.
