With close to a hundred people living inside the walls of Sing Sing, it wasn't surprising really that Nick could still come across people she didn't know all that well. With new faces coming and going as well, it began hard to keep track of who was who. Though she did try to pay attention to people closer to her age, sometimes it was nice to know there were other teenagers around.
"Oh," that was definitely an odd answer, but Nick wasn't about to go judging people. So he thought he heard someone talking? Wasn't there a moment in everyone's life when they thought they heard something they hadn't? It didn't go unnoticed how he took a couple steps back away from her, she wasn't offended though. Maybe he had somewhere to be and was attempting to make a polite, yet discrete exit.
Or maybe he just didn't want to be in her company.
"Just got here," she replied honestly. Nick hadn't seen anything and had only heard the tail end of the guy's conversation. This wasn't the first time she had stumbled onto someone talking to themselves.
