It didn’t take a rocket scientist to ascertain that Noah was nothing like Thomas. But then Vienna wasn’t anything like the girl she had been when she’d fallen in love with Thomas, so it only made sense that her taste had changed? Or maybe it hurt less to be attracted to a man that didn’t have at trace of anything that would remind her of Ledger’s father. No, Noah had intriguing traits that were all his own, and Vienna was looking forward to figuring just how opposite Noah was from Thomas.
They were quickly reaching that moment in which clothing would need to be shed if this was going to go any further. Vienna for her part was content with dragging this out just a little longer, unwilling to break the kiss just yet. When Noah’s hand slipped between them, she made a soft noise into the kiss, hand still moving over Noah’s back restlessly, memorizing the plains of it. Her shirt had buttons down the front; it wouldn’t be hard for Noah to remove it. That was if his fingers were nibble – and somehow she thought they probably were. This was an escape from the grim life they all lead, a surprise, one Vienna hadn’t been expecting, but one she welcomed easily.
Any doubt that had been in her mind about night was quickly evaporating; giving way to the excitement that was surely in store for both of them.
