The woman's questions floated over George for a moment before she comprehended the second one. She licked her lips and nodded slowly, "The lumps says so." Normally there would have been a hint of sarcasm but right now the only emotion that her voice held was the confusion. It bothered her that she was so out of touch with how she'd normally react, or it would have if she'd been able to connect the two thought processes together.
"Think so," George muttered. There was an urgency to how the other woman was trying to get her to move. There was a hole in the wall, she remembered in momentary clarity, that must be why. Zombies were likely to be there soon trying to get in. A shudder ran down her spine unbidden, she didn't like zombies, all they did was take.
