"Exactly," Zach agreed with a smirk. "So she'd be about as fun as harassing a tree stump or something. I've got a suggestion, how 'bout you just never plan on not being around, that work for you?" If Zach had is way he wouldn't lose anymore of his siblings, but fate lately had a tendency to decide otherwise. But he was going to do is damndest to keep Maddie, Charlie and Dillon safe. "Oh, I warranted an eyeroll, I feel honored," he smirked and wondered if he should be dodging another kind of attack from his baby sister soon. "I'm going to have to say no on that one, but y'know violent displays like that should be noted and checked out if they continue." Yeah, now he really was asking for whatever Maddie decided to do to him.
Where as Maddie was quietly trying to hide her amusement, Zach was far less subtle about things. "Nobody wants to listen to you whistle your old songs, buddy," He hollered down the hall, not really concerned if the guy decided to react in some manner. If things got physical he knew he could take the guy, and that wasn't even his own arrogance talking - it was just logic. "Sounds like he could have used one awhile ago. Don't worry, I'll make sure to scrub myself clean of any creepy rocker cooties he might have." Talking about beating someone up probably wasn't awesome, but he was only human and the creepy was hitting on his baby sister way too much for his liking.
Zach grimaced at Maddie's subtle confirmation. In all seriousness he really didn't care to think about what his siblings did or who they were doing them with. Wasn't his business and he liked to keep it that way, as long as they were being safe and shit. When he caught sight of the frown on Maddie's face, the part of him that was the softy big brother thought he should hand it over. But the part of him that figured this was payback for everything she did was going to hold out a bit longer. "You could always come help me in the infirmary, that would be better. Probably only because you would be spending time with me, though," he tossed the offer out there as she jumped for the notebook in his hands. "Nicknames, huh?" Lowering the notebook, Zach began to flip through it. "What colorful nickname have you given me?"
"Hey now, checking on former patients is doing something." Zach argued half-heartedly. He didn't have that many former patients around this place, but this kept him up and away from whatever booze he could get his hands on. Things were better with his siblings when he wasn't drinking, so he was making an attempt to lay off the stuff more, though lately he had still been failing at it for the most part.
