Glancing at Everett when Caitie called out, Nick kept from making any kind of frustrated noise at the fact that her friend hadn’t even really listened to what she had said. “I’m not here for Maddie,” Nick replied as she focused her attention back on her friend, speaking louder this time and hoping that that would get Caitie’s attention enough to turn around. Sure she was attempting to hang out with Maddie and get the other girl to change her mind about her, but one attempt in the week was good enough, at least for now. “So you should really come to the door now.” Walking into Caitie’s cell wasn’t really something Nick was comfortable doing, at least not without permission.
So that left her awkwardly waiting for Caitie to make the effort to come to the door so that she could see why Nick was here. Again she looked at Everett, unsure what to do at this point. “Do you want to announce yourself or something, maybe?” Nick asked quietly. “Maybe that would get her attention.” She added with a shrug, not exactly sure how these sibling reunion things were supposed to go down as her reunion with Benjamin hadn’t exactly been ‘normal’. Unless you could call someone tripping over you normal.
