"Entertainment's plenty useful," Caitie said with all the seriousness in the world, and like it was an obvious fact that Leah was an idiot for overlooking. "People are jerks when they're bored, not that you'd know, since jerk seems to be a pretty normal thing for you," she added with narrowed eyes.
Making messes. Caitie utterly failed at hiding the tiny smirk that crossed her face when Leah mentioned that, but she shrugged. "Maybe if you wanted to avoid the messes, you could make the messable stuff harder to get to." Seemed like common sense to her. "But as long as you don't, I'm gonna have fun with it. Not like there's anything else fun to do around here, anyway. Gotta find my fun somehow."
Whoopdie doo. It belonged to his wife. "Well, whatever, he's moved on so it shouldn't matter anymore, right?" she asked, then added, "Besides, you'd think that would make you not want him to have it back. Cause then he'll remember how much better she must've been than you." A low blow, but she wasn't the only one throwing those out. "Wait, you have sentimental things? You mean there's actually a heart in there somewhere? Holy crap! Call the presses!"
Scoffing, then rolling her eyes, Caitie unclasped the necklace and took it off, not putting it in Leah's hand, but dropping it in the grass on the ground. "There. Now leave me alone," she said, turning to walk away.
