Leah crossed her arms over her chest and let out a breath, her expression unchanging. She was far too mature to be bothered by any criticism a troublesome teenager had for her, no matter if it was something Leah often thought herself. She was the least talented Stone.
That wasn’t the point, though, and she wasn’t going to let Caitie’s comments get to her. “Just because a few people at that party enjoyed your show, doesn’t mean you’re anything impressive. Wouldn’t want that head to swell anymore than it already is.”
Her eyes dropped to the necklace just as the girl was turning around. Leah’s eyes narrowed. “Wait a second,” she growled, stepping closer and catching Caitie’s wrist before she could get too far away. Leah turned her around to get a better look at the jewelry. “Where’d you get that?”
