Kori didn't offend all that easily. It took a lot to get on her bad side and Nick hadn't done anything that the blonde woman thought deserved any sort of offended feelings whatsoever. "I wouldn't sell myself short if I was you," Kori told her, smiling at the other girl. "I think that you're a lot smarter than you give yourself credit for." Nick might have been a teenager, but that didn't mean she was stupid.
"If it's meant to be, it'll happen," Kori told her. "If not, at least you get to find yourself and get to know yourself better. If you can't love yourself you can't really love anyone else either." Which had been something that Kori had to learn the hard way. "But enough about that, you've got plenty of time to think about boys later. Or not think about them," she chuckled.
"It'll be the best. And the first. So even more awesome, I think. I can't wait to get things started." Hopefully the whole thing would be well received and they could get to work sooner rather than later.
"Yeah, we've got time before Christmas, but I agree with making it non-religious. More focus on presents and things like that. Non-denominational that way everyone could participate and no one gets offended. But that's another party entirely. Let's get through Halloween first," she grinned. "I'll try to think up more ideas tonight and get them written down and once we have some more from everyone else around here we can start figuring out what all we want to incorporate and what we want to leave out."
