Kori had been smiling, but then the talk of people going missing had the smile fading entirely. Dissolving into a frown really. Kori didn't want to think about the people who were going missing. It worried her sick to think that people were just vanishing into thin air. She was a little scared herself, she had to admit. Not that she wanted to be, but it was hard not to worry when people were disappearing and no one seemed to know where they'd gone off to. She pushed that thought away and focused on costumes instead. They were less terrifying and much less worrisome. Anything to keep her mind on something happy would be the right path to go. "Any help would be appreciated," she smiled. "Thanks for offering. And just let me know when you've decided. I'll make sure it's special."
"Rae's good with creative stuff," she agreed. "So yeah, We can ask her and I'll ask my family and Mike is my fiance." That was nice to say. Fiance. She'd missed referring to him as that. "I'll post something up later tonight or maybe tomorrow," she said, nodding a little. "See what people think and if I get any good feedback and then we can get the ball rolling. I'll be sure to let everyone know that you helped with the idea spawning though. Give yourself more credit, it's a really good idea," she smiled.
"I'll make sure we have at least a decent figure by the time that Halloween comes along. Making a few extra is the best bet, I think." More was better than not enough. Anything to make the kids have a happy holiday. And the parents too. Nick was probably right, however, in not being able to eliminate worry entirely. Softening it a bit would be better than nothing though.
"I think it'll go over well. Who knows, maybe it'll be a big bash," she grinned. She really hoped so. "I don't see why people wouldn't be excited to take part. Everyone wins when the kids are happy. Happy kids means happy parents." And happy parents meant happy friends of parents. "I'll get that post up and see what sort of response we get and we can go from there. I have the feeling it's going to go over really well though. Call me crazy but who doesn't enjoy a Halloween party?"
