Re: The Stones (and maybe any guests they bring along?)
Her intent had been to tease Brandon, not belittle Kori's efforts at putting together a meal for them. Leah's smile, small though it was, was apologetic. "The Spam is fine, Kor. Like he said, you did a great job with what you could get."

She quirked a brow at Brandon, waiting to see how he would react to her innocent remark. When he reached for a slice of Spam, Leah couldn't help but laugh. "Atta boy," she said, using her fork to slice off another bite of Spam for herself, followed by a sip of water.

Kori mentioned the possibility of Lilah having gotten sidetracked by something, and Leah nodded her agreement. As twins, their connection to one another might not have been as strong as other twins, but it was still there. If Lilah was in trouble, Leah would feel it. She shook her head when Brandon suggested he go look for her. That would involve leaving her and Kori alone with each other again.

"She's not in danger, else I'd know about it. And if she did get distracted, it's probably something important. You know she never misses a holiday meal, if it can be helped."
