"I guess you'd consider me part of the early bird crowd," he mused, a smile crossing his eyes for a moment before it receded and his face remain neutral. "Though I have been known to have my own bouts of insomnia on occasion."
He looked the young man over now, studying him. Attempting to recall if he'd seen Caleb around. Michael was almost sure that he had. Maybe Caleb had attended the sermons on Sundays? Sometimes there were good turnouts. Other times there were only one or two. It didn't bother Michael either way. He'd preach a sermon to an empty house just to keep up the routine. Kept a bit of normalcy in his life. He liked that.
He moved now to offer his hand to Caleb. "I don't believe we've met. My name is Michael Thorne. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." Another smile and a bit of a nod.
