George nodded silent. Despite knowing how much Luke meant that promise she couldn't help but feel that there was no way anyone could promise not to be like someone. No way to entirely avoid potentially breaking apart at the seams when things became too much. She believed he would do everything he could to avoid that outcome, and maybe he would succeed, she sincerely hoped he did.
"There aren't any other places that I should be right now," She murmured squeezing his hand again. She couldn't make herself move to hug him like she wanted. She didn't think she really deserved to have him keep dropping kisses on her head. Not after what she had said to him when they were fighting, she'd been absolutely horrendous to him.
"I'm supposed to be comforting you, not the other way around Nomad." She smiled at him, amused as she was by the irony of the moment it wasn't as happy as usual; a mirror to Luke's own smile.
