Sebastian nodded in agreement. "You're right. Doing something is better than nothing. When I first got news of what was going on, I rushed here, but others seemed to stay in their place, frightened to take any chances. We're not going to get anywhere if all we do is cower away. I mean, I can't defend myself worth shit, but I at least wanted to help." He honestly could remember all of the dead pan looks he received when he asked others to join him. He got a sniper and a firearms expert. They covered him while he helped the injured. It was difficult to tell who had been bitten and who were injured by a nasty fall because sometimes the wounds looked similar. He didn't want to be prejudice.
Ah, so he had family. That must have been nice. Sometimes, it felt lonely and if one dwelled on it for too long, they succumbed to feeling depressed. All Sebastian could do was hope. Hope for Devin, hope to make friends along the way though he could be quite terrible at maintaining them. Point was, now was the best of times to find people who could be like family if you lacked one.
"Grand Central? Is it tolerable there?" He only had to weave his wound for a little bit longer. Though chaos was rampant outside, the bus was a little place of solace. Even with gun shots here and there. "I'm at the Library. The people aren't always friendly but at least there is something to do."
He inspected his work once he was finished with the stitching, tilting his head to make sure he had not left an open spot, vulnerable to infection. "I have some spare antibiotics. Enough to last you three days. I think that can be good enough to avoid a serious infection. It's a very powerful medication, so if you feel ill and a little irritable, it's probably the medication." The antibiotics was something he just realized he had and this was certainly a case where the man needed them. He slid the bottle into his hands and smiled.
