Ollie himself had little trouble getting to sleep. Though he did spare a couple passing thoughts to people he missed. Like their parents, as glad he was as they weren't alive to see the world today. He had to wonder how different things were in the Philippines. Was anyone alive over there? He wasn't so closed-minded as to think that America was the only country with life.
He thought of Uncle James next. He was out there. There was no question in Ollie's mind. Where he was, Ollie didn't know. California was a long ways away from New York City, and Uncle James didn't know where they were. But he was looking. Ollie knew that, too. And he'd find them. Ollie just… hoped it was soon. He missed him, and he always knew what to do, no matter what was going on.
His thoughts went for a moment to Laney, wherever she was, and even though the adventure had been decried by his sister and caused him all this pain, he couldn't help but smile a little bit.
The last person he thought about before dozing off, however, was Allie. His rock of Gibraltar. The one person in the world that he would give absolutely anything for, no matter what it was. He grinned a little bit as he watched his sister doze off, and it wasn't too long before he followed suit, falling into a peaceful slumber.
