"Of birds! I have a bit of a thing for birds!" Michael replied, perking up quite a bit. He made his way back toward the pew that housed his journal. Upon picking it up, he turned to the page he'd been working on, and turned to hand the book to Sebastian to peruse.
"Beautiful Warbler I saw on my way out here to Ossining, that's what I was working on when you came in. There are others in there, mostly indigenous to this area. Or northwestern England. Long standing hobby," he shrugged.
Naturally there was quite a bit that Michael had observed about infected birds as well. They took up their own section in the latter half of the journal. The earlier half was mostly non-infected species of various types, along with random drawings of other infected life. He mostly stuck to birds, but notes about non-avian types weren't a bad idea either. Especially when you've got a bit of a memory problem.
