"It's a pleasure to meet you Doctor Handsel. I'm Father Michael Thorne. You may call me any derivative of that you would like," Michael smiled as his gaze wandered to the walls for a moment, before returning to Sebastian.
"The paint is nice, but I don't expect it to be the sole reason people come in here."
Pulling his hands apart, and motioning at the other man, he took a couple steps closer, so that they wouldn't have to raise their voices to continue their conversation. "The greenhouses! So I have you to thank in part for the wonderful vegetables that grace the tables? I'm not much of a gardener myself, so it's much appreciated."
Nervous people didn't bother Michael. He'd seen so many of them in his day that he'd become accustomed to it. There were just some people with that sort of personality, and he was absolutely fine with that. He'd keep enough of a comfortable distance as to not make matters worse.
