"Oh!" He blinked at her. It sounded like she did a lot of things around the facility, which made him a little more embarrassed about not knowing who she was. Though, he hadn't realized that there was a seamstress shop in the rec building. That was a bit of a wonderful thing, really, given the state of some of his shirts. His smile warmed. "That's... ah... a lot of hats. Cooking... children... ah, tailoring. I couldn't imagine!"
"What... what are you making?" Sebastian asked, politely, just out of curiosity. He'd seen her measuring out cocoa powder, which meant whatever it was he couldn't have, anyway. He knew that sometimes there were desserts along with dinners, but his sense of timing was always off. "I'd... ah... I'd offer assistance... but... I'm... I think I'm bad luck for baked goods."
It was a weak joke, but it was still an attempt at humor.
