Rory was determined to keep her eyes closed as long as possible. Finn was her person. She had trouble defining anything beyond that, but she knew he was the person she was learning to turn to. To lean on. He was her person, and she didn't want to open her eyes and be faced with this sad, horrific reality that her best friend was now going through. All Rory really wanted was to escape, to stay hidden in his arms for a while longer. She knew that couldn't happen, but while it lasted, she held on tight. His voice made her smile, made her relax, and that was something that would help. If only for a little while.
