Somehow, Rory hadn't thought it would be Finn. There was no reason for that, not after everything they had been through. It was actually rather reasonable to assume he would track her down. Reasonable to hope for him to track her down. But Rory wasn't thinking about any visitors, really. She was just focused on Rae, on getting to her.
And so it surprised her, worse than the knock, when she was pulled into his arms, but the second she was there, it was like her entire body loosened with a sigh of relief. Rory closed her eyes, and worked her arms around him as well. He hadn't seen the stitches. She was grateful Brandon had forced her to get her forehead looked at, but she wasn't happy about the stitches. Finn wouldn't be either.
But that was fine. Because he was there. He was holding her. Rory took another slow breath and bunched up a bit of his shirt just to hold on that much tighter. "Hi..." she whispered.
