Jon waited for Brandon to unlock the gun case, then he focused his attention on finding something he could work with. He ended up feeling he could be most comfortable using and, lo and behold, he settled on a Winchester. It wasn't a Model 70, like he'd hoped, but it'd do.
"This should work," he nodded to Brandon.
"And yeah, the task force. I think it's a good idea." Mostly because he, like the other two gentlemen, had precious things behind Sing Sing's walls to protect.
Turning his attention over his shoulder to Den, he smiled. "Well I won't feel so bad then, since you're a fresh face in general.
He relaxed to face more toward Brandon and nodded his head again. "So this thing effective immediately, or are we going to have to wait for some sort of okay from someone?" Jon wasn't sure exactly how things ran around here, and didn't want to end up making an assumption he shouldn't be.
