So immersed was he in deciding which rifle he wanted to go and get some target practice with that he didn't notice the footsteps in the room until just before the voice. Trying to disguise the jump as a quick turn around, he nodded a greeting at the first guy who appeared in the room. “Hey,” he said with a one-handed salute-wave. “Dennis, right? I'm shitty with names, sorry. Rory's brother... yeah?” he asked. He should probably know the guy, anyway. Rory was one of his best friends.
