Marcus chuckled. "So... you got bored?" That was definitely high maintenance, but something he could actually empathize with. If someone didn't leave him first, he'd always leave them, usually on a whim that was difficult to really explain later. It generally wasn't anything they'd done.
He stopped doing the sit-ups and just sat, casually leaning forward a bit, letting his heart-rate slow back to normal. The interaction with Lulu was more interesting than his workout, which was something he hadn't expected to stumble upon. The way she laughed and giggled still triggered mixed feelings. It was an oddly endearing laughter, but there was a part of him that couldn't shake the thought that she was still somehow laughing at him, so while it was pleasant, it still put him on edge a little bit. If he were an actual wolf, his ears would be perked upward, and the fur on the back of his neck would be raised. The combination was strangely compelling. Like touching something that was hot and cold at the same time.
"I get bored," he confessed to her, though there was a brightness in his eyes that indicated he wasn't particularly ashamed or repentant of that fact. "That's not always what fucking ends shit. But sometimes. Not so good at hoops, either."
