Caitie smirked. "Heck yeah, I'm gonna rub it in!" She nodded seriously. It was funny how, even though she was without her parents or siblings, and legally, she was an adult who could talk however she wanted to, she still didn't want to curse. Old rules died hard. Or some of them, anyway. "I've got to take whatever advantage I can get, right? I'm not even five feet tall and even though some people would see it as a downside, I don't." She paused when Maddie mentioned how good she was at blending in, then nodded. "I believe it."
As good as Caitie was at blending in, when she wanted to stand out, she was fairly awesome at that, too. If she decided to start singing, most heads in the area turned and most people's attention was grabbed. It was good for making a distracting scene. "To be a good thief, you have to be good at both blending in and standing out, and know whenever's the right time. Right?" she asked. At least that was how she always saw it.
Another smirk when Maddie teased her codename choice and she shrugged. "It was either that or Chewy, and since I hate Star Wars, Wolfmonster seems so much cooler," she pointed out, then turning her attention back to the task at hand. Hm. Bill or Mr. President. "If I've gotta be Mr. President, at least I'm the least boring one."
Had Caitie known she was being watched, she might have made more of a show of unlocking the door, mostly because it was just instinctual. When people were watching her, she wanted to give them something to really watch. Fortunately, though, she didn't know. Because things like that had been known to get her into trouble. Making a show of things that shouldn't have been a show, and having someone hear her and come around the corner at the exact wrong time was one of the most common ways Caitie had been caught back on Liberty Island. So, fortunately for them both, she just continued as if nothing was strange.
"Right? You can stuff a candy cigarette in there and pretend you're a French snob or something," Caitie said seriously. "Especially if he has a beret. And a stripy shirt and pencil black pants. Ooh and a scarf, we can't forget the red scarf!" she said in quiet enthusiasm.
Caitie stepped into the room and closed the door behind them, both so they wouldn't be caught and they'd have warning if they were about to be caught. And then, she flipped the light on so they'd be able to see what they were rooting through. The room was... sort of disappointing on first glance. "Geez, he's boring, isn't he?" she asked. The place looked... normal. "We must have to dig for the good stuff. There's no way anyone is this boring."
