AAH so sorry for THIS wait, too, LIFE KEEPS HAPPENING
Finn thought it was probably best to skirt around the guy and keep moving - he looked harmless, but really what did that even mean anymore? The whole issue of finding outsiders in Ossining was irritating to Finn who was naturally a helpful sort of guy, but also overly protective of what was his. The combination made for internal conflict when he encountered people this way, and he wasn't feeling patient at the moment.
He was halfway past the other man when the waker cried out, and Finn gave a low growl through his teeth. There were plenty of things to hate in this infested world, but Finn completely despised wakers almost to an irrational extent. He started forward a few strides immediately, gun drawn and dropping the bag of movies, and as soon as he'd crossed half the distance to the manhole a trio of runners and a half dozen shufflers sprung up in the space between Finn and the stranger. Spinning back, Finn opened fire on the undead between them but there were so many Finn knew the man back there was going to have to do something for himself to get by, too. Finn hoped he was a fighter.
