There was a low hum of protest, but Rory couldn't really argue with what followed. Finn broke the kiss off, but touching his forehead to hers was such a nice gesture, such a nice feeling. She couldn't help but smile, content to just stay like that for a while. They wouldn't, of course, Finn would get restless eventually and insist on moving, but for that moment, this was peaceful. Above that, it was meaningful. They weren't broken. They couldn't be like this right now if they were broken.
Rory breathed out a low laugh, locked quietly in the small space between them. Everything felt loud when they were close like this, but Rory didn't mind.
"Are you asking because I'm easygoing?" she quipped, though she didn't leaving him suspended without a proper answer for long. "I can do a while, absolutely."
