“It probably says a lot about me that the first thing I think of when I’m asked that question involves a new and more creative way of taking down zombies, doesn’t it?” Leah replied with a half smile. That was also part of the reason she’d posed the question to her younger sister. “We need to do something hobby-ish and not dangerous.”
Marigold made a face at her aunt when the woman mussed up her hair. She smoothed stray locks out of her eyes, then twisted to the side, using her tiny hands to try and tickle Kori. No matter how annoyed or fussy she was, the little girl never tired of trying to tickle people. It was a shame, really, that Brandon had to teach her that. As much as she loved her brother, she was sure that Kori would be a better influence, as far as keeping the girl out of trouble went.
Leah laughed softly at the pair as she went through a list in her mind of various activities they could try together. “Hmm. Well, we can play a sport, soccer or volleyball or something. Or we can do something with paint. A mural or something.”
She bit her lip. Her siblings didn’t know about her recent artistic abilities, which was probably a good thing. She was only just now getting over the embarrassment caused by the Paint Fairy rumors. “Or I suppose we could try knitting something, but you know I’m not very good at that, so whatever project we end up working on might not turn out so great.”
